Return to Work Program
A tailored program funded by the company to ensure a smooth and positive return after Maternity, paternity, long-term sickness or stress leave.
The Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD) analysed sickness absence and employee health among 918 organisations representing 6.5 million employees, with 76% of respondents reporting they had taken time off due to stress in the past year.

A study by researchers at London's South Bank University found that around half of women believe that taking maternity leave has harmed their professional lives.

2.58 million people are off work due to chronic illness in the UK, a figure that has risen by 449,000 since the start of the pandemic in January 2020.

Returning to work can be a stressful and unsettling time after a period of absence. whether that be due to Maternity/ Paternity leave, Long-term illness or stress leave. Open communication and emotional support is vital to ensure a successful transition back into the workplace.

Full Beam offers a program consisting of the following:
For the returner: Six 50 minute 1-1 sessions. Two before their return and Four after (this can be adjusted if they prefer to One before and Five after for example). The 4 after would generally be weekly in the first month or so of return. These are to explore the feelings about return and the process during the first month back at work.
For the Manager:
Two 1-hour sessions. One before the return to prepare and a check in post return. These sessions are to ensre the manager feels supported themselves and empowered to support their returner.
For both parties:
Two 1-hour sessions to match needs and expectations and also set out a collaborative agreement to move forward at the end of my work with both parties.

This program gives both the returner and their manager a confidential space to explore their feelings and goals along with combined sessions to ensure both parties feel empowered and supported to ensure a positive return.
